A COMMUNITY THAT CARES

Our Property Owners Association relies heavily on those property owners who volunteer their time and talents to maintain or enhance the quality of life here in Sugar Springs. Opportunities abound from donating and tending to flowers at the beach areas and golf course to helping out at the annual craft show or Airpark Fly In.

COMMITTEES:

Architectural and Environmental Control Committee (limited membership)

Airpark Committee
(Airpark maintenance and improvements, Fly In Breakfast on an annual basis)

Budget Committee (limited membership)

Building and Grounds Committee
(Reviews and prioritizes maintenance and care of all Association Properties)

Camping Committee
(Sponsors All Member Picnic, Boat Parade, Trunk or Treat party)

Election Committee
(Oversees and certifies all community elections. Membership based on needs as determined by the Board of Directors)

Golf Committee
(Both ladies and men’s associations - many golf events throughout the season, Tournaments, championships, member-guest days, charitable fundraisers, Youth golf and Simulator activities)

Lakes Committee
(Oversees lake management on a regular basis - sponsors Boat Safety classes, Annual Goose Round-up, weed and silt control, shoreline stabilization, etc.)

Memorial Committee
(Works with families to honor members)

Nominating Committee
(Membership varies on an as-needed basis)

Planning/Marketing Committee
(Advises BOD on short and long term planning. Assists with Town Halls, Committee events)

Recreation Committee
(Meets monthly to plan and execute activities for the community. These include A Snowfest, Pool Party, Potluck Dinners, Ice Cream Social, Craft Fair, Biennial Rummage Sale, Road Rally, Card Party and Holiday Tree Lighting)

There is also a Garden Club that enjoys working in community flower beds for all to enjoy.
